The Resource Centre is the hub for the library and information services in the University. It serves as a creative and innovative partner in supporting the teaching, learning, scholarship and research activities of the Institute. With the fast growing collection, both in digital and print forms using the state-of-the-art facilities, the Resource Centre is contributing to the University's mission of becoming a world class University in the areas of Technology, Management and related subjects.
The Resource Centre is a member of the INDEST Consortium, British Council of Library, NPTEL, EDUSAT and DEL NET.
Vedanta, home to the 24×7 wi-fi enabled library, is the knowledge hub of all academic activities. It has a remarkable contribution in making the University a premiere education centre.
Resource Centre- Veda
The Resource Centre is housed in a newly built which is Known as Vedanta, independent and spacious building, located on the left side as one enters the campus. The location of the Resource Centre overlooks beautiful landscape of lush green plants and variety of flowers. The pleasant ambience and the well-furnished Resource Centre with open terraces and spacious reading rooms create an atmosphere of serenity and thereby inspire the learning and research.

The collection of the Resource Centre is rich and diverse, especially in terms of the breadth and depth of coverage. Collection encompasses subjects in communication technology, computer science, electronics, information technology, humanities and social sciences and related areas. This collection includes, books, conference proceedings, reference books, CD-ROMs, floppies, VCDs, DVDs, Video Cassettes etc. Currently, Resource Centre has over 1 Lakh books, over 3500 CDs/DVDs, subscribes to more than 202 journals/magazines in print and subscribes to more than 5000 ejournals. Resource Centre collection is growing rapidly and we hope to add four to five thousand unique titles every year.

The Resource Centre operations and services are fully computerized using Libsys software. Opac of the holdings is available 24X7 for online access through the web.
The major digital resources such as IIEEE are also accessible to the DITU community any where on the campus.

Data Center
DIT builds and maintains a host of collaboration systems, mainly websites or portals, facilitating global exchange of knowledge and ideas among students, faculty, recruiters and the alumni. Access to the library, extensive online database is facilitated by the high tech datacenter.

The AV Center is equipped with modern audio- visual equipment. The video conferencing facilities are used for placement services, online seminars, especially with partner Institutions as also for educational and business conferences.
Campus on Move Program from Hewlett Packard
Oracle (OCP), Net Technology and Communication Technology (Using MATLAB) - DIT has signed an MoU with HP for training and software development. Under this program HP has been providing training to our students and faculty members on emerging technologies. Besides this on-line Prometric Certification Courses for .Net, Oracle (OCP), Communication Technology, GIS, Java etc. are also conducted to prepare the students for the current needs of the industry beyond the university curriculum.
CISCO Network Academy at DIT
Cisco Network Academy at DIT is a unique initiative by Cisco Systems and DIT to train students and faculty on practical aspects of networking technologies so that they are better prepared for industry requirements. Cisco offers entire training contents through e-learning courses include CCNA and CCNP certification. DIT has certified CISCO trainers for these certifications.
