Refund Policy
Admission Withdrawal/ Cancellation/Fee Refund/Late Fee & other Fee Related Policies
The last Date for payment of remaining fee of first instalment for new Admissions shall be as mentioned in the respective Provisional Admission letter. In case of non-payment by due date, the provisional admission shall stand cancelled.
Admission Withdrawal & Refund Policy
- All applications for withdrawal shall be submitted to and accepted by the Accounts Manager ONLY.
- Such applications shall be accepted only on the prescribed format and duly acknowledged by the Accounts Manager mentioning the date of receipt of application. Alternately, the application can also be submitted by e-mail at accounts.manager@dituniversity.edu.in through student's registered e-mail ID ONLY.
Refund Rule for Course Fee
- Registration Fee Rs. 1250/- is non-refundable.
- If the admission is withdrawn on or before 31 July, 2014, then fee shall be refunded after deduction of non-refundable admission fee as mentioned in the fee structure for the respective admission category.
- If the admission is withdrawn after 31 July, 2014, the refund will be processed after reviewing the admission status as on 1 September 2014, depending upon the availability of vacant seats after withdrawals in the same category.
- The amount refundable shall be calculated on the basis of date of submission of application for withdrawal and the number of seats vacant in the same category as on 1 September, 2014. The decision will be based on “first come first serve” basis. All refunds shall be calculated on pro-rata basis after deducting non- refundable fee of Rs. 15,000.
- Every branch change after admission shall attract a branch change fee of Rs. 500/-.
Refund Policy for Hostel, Mess & Laundry Fee
- All applications for hostel withdrawal shall be submitted to and accepted by the Chief Warden ONLY. Such applications shall be duly acknowledged by the Chief Warden mentioning the date of receipt of application.
- If a student withdraws before the commencement of classes, only Rs. 1,000/- will be deducted as processing charges and balance shall be refunded.
- If a student withdraws after the commencement of classes, then complete hostel fee shall be forfeited. In such cases only Mess fee & Laundry fee shall be refunded on proportionate basis i.e. @ Rs. 3,000/- per month.
- If a student has availed hostel facility even for one day in a calendar month, then mess & laundry fee for that calendar month shall also be deducted.
- For students staying in OFF- campus hostels, their refunds shall be as per the policy of the respective hostel management.
Refund policy for Transport Fee
- All applications for Transport withdrawal shall be submitted to and accepted by the Administrative Officer ONLY.
- If a student withdraws before the commencement of classes, only Rs.500/- shall be deducted as processing charges and balance shall be refunded.
- If a student withdraws after the commencement of classes, then refund shall be calculated on pro-rata basis @ Rs.1,800/- per month. Withdrawal will be applicable from the next month of the application submission date.
Admission Cancellation Policy
- All students are admitted provisionally till they deposit all prescribed fees, pass certificates as per eligibility criteria, Migration Certificate, other certificates as applicable and mentioned in the provisional admission letter.
- Any student who does not comply with any of the above conditions within the stipulated time, the university shall have the right to cancel his/her admission. In such cases, all fee refunds shall be done as per the University Fee Refund Policy given above.
Other Notes
- The fee is charged annually but for the convenience of the students the fee payment is facilitated in two installments (in the month of June & November respectively irrespective of the result and starting date of the Semester).
- Examination Fee: The examination fee for final semester students of UG & PG programs includes Convocation, Migration & Alumni fee of Rs. 3,000/-.
- PDP Fee: The University provides extensive value added Soft Skills Training, English Communication, Aptitude building, Campus to corporate and Technical Training throughout the program.
- Industrial Tour Fee: The University shall be providing one industrial tour (within the country) during the entire program.
- Learning Resources Fee: The University shall provide all books prescribed in the curriculum except for electives to all the students on returnable basis in all the semesters. The fee is charged only once to maintain the book bank and to ensure continuous upgradation of the same.
