Quality Faculty
We have empaneled some of the most competent and respected academicians as our faculty. Coming from IITs, NITs and other renowned institutions, they are engaged in a wide variety of activities besides substantial academic and research commitments. Faculty members are encouraged to interact with peer groups by participating in education programs and international conferences. Faculty involvement in academic, research and consultation activities leads to a significant output of publications in leading national and international journals. Our present faculty strength is 307 - they comprise of 64 PhDs, 221 Postgraduates and 22 Research Associates . At present, our faculty is working on 36 R&D projects and 42 consultancy projects.
English and Foreign Languages
Conscious endeavor is made to ensure our students imbibe a global perspective - with opportunity to master English and other foreign languages. We have compulsory English Language Finishing Classes in arrangement with Cambridge University - to make you well-versed in English. What's more, in the first year itself, you have an option to earn yourself a Diploma in Foreign Language (as an open elective) as well.

Studying at DITU is about gaining confidence as well as qualifications, employability as well as expertise, and inspiration as well as information. Just, Open, and a Transparent Academic Systems
Ours is a student centric university where we follow just, open and transparent academic systems. Unlike other universities and institutes, at DITU, marks are not given - you have to earn them. Our Examination & Grading systems are standardized, transparent and stringent. All Examination Question Papers are made by external experts maintaining the sanctity of the entire process. As a regular practice, evaluated answer sheets are shown to our students prior to declaring the results publicly. Students have an advantage of reporting discrepancies (if any) in their respective answer sheets to the concerned department thereby making the entire process transparent.

Full Automation of the Institute
DIT University has deployed ERP software developed by SAP.The software includes total student administration including registrations, results, attendance, staff management, library and financial management. The implementation of this software provides parents direct access to their ward’s performance.
Employment Enhancement Training
Soft-skills, Aptitude and Software Training
We don't just impart education, but augment it with real life skills employers are looking for. An integral part of all our programs is the Specialized Software Training by industry experts (120 hours spread over eight semesters). Compulsory Soft-skills and Aptitude Training by corporate trainers (120 hours spread over eight semesters) further helps polish the skills learnt by our students. These efforts help students network with industry professionals and discover invaluable work experience opportunities.
There are two papers of soft skill development, paper I & paper II are being covered in semester Ist & semester IInd respectively. In addition there are two papers on aptitude development are also covered in Vth & VIth Semester respectively. The soft skill training comprises of Reading, Writing, Listening and Speaking skills. In addition Team Spirit, Leadership Quality, Time Management and Decision Making skills are also covered.
In aptitude building training we give focus on Analytical, Logical and Reasoning skills along with Group Discussion and Personnel Interview. Further to this value addition technical training of 40hrs per semester is also given, comprising of trainings like DOT NET, EMBEDDED SYSTEM, JAVA, RedHat, C# etc. We ensure that our students must go for atleast one International Certification. These trainings enhance the employability probability of all our students.
We provide CAMPUS to CORPORATE Training program to our students in VIIIth Semester to ensure their future prospects as an effective Professionals & Leaders. In this program renowned Industrialist interact with our budding Professional & discuss the lively challenges they are going to face during their professional life.

DIT University successfully running EDC. This Cell is headed by Prof. A. K. Sharma. He has got about 40 Years wide industrial Experience in India and Nepal.

- EAC Funding: We got prestigious funding from EDI-DST for conducting EACs in 2012-13.
- EAD: Successfully Conducted EAD in collaboration with IIT Kharagpur on 26th Oct. 2012.
- EAC I: Successfully Conducted EAC Programme on 8th -10th Nov. 2012. IAU President, Mr. Pankaj Gupta was the chief guest.
- EAC II: Successfully Conducted EAC Programme on 29th -1st Dec. 2012. CII Chair man, Dr. Farooq was the chief guest.
- EAC: Successfully Conducted EAC Programme (23rd -25th Jan. 2013). Dr. Rajender Dobhal Director General UCOST was the chief guest.
